Castria were engaged to design finger jetties and piled foundations to support a 220 tonne boat hoist used for the launching and recovery of vessels at C Toms.
The design had to take into account the tight confines of a busy ship building yard. The units were precast off site, brought to site via ship and installed via a barge crane.
